About
A builder's résumé, and a developer's discipline
WNC Residential Development turns a lifetime of trade experience into a formal residential construction company — one that decides whether a house should be built at all before it builds it.

Salvador Benjaran Ortega began as a bricklayer's helper in Mexico and learned the trade the only way it sticks — on the job, one house at a time. Over four decades he became a master builder, working every stage from footings and framing through systems and finish carpentry.
In the United States he added industrial and mechanical maintenance to that base, and for nearly nineteen years he founded and ran his own business — hiring, training and supervising crews, and handling purchasing, inventory, sales and daily operations.
WNC Residential Development is where that record comes together. The company builds residential homes in Western North Carolina with the judgment of someone who can read a house from the inside, and the discipline to price the land, the build and the exit before committing a dollar.
Build residential homes in Western North Carolina by applying more than forty years of hands-on construction experience, operational discipline and professional project analysis — to deliver quality houses and make responsible decisions before committing capital, time and reputation.
To be a trusted residential builder in Western North Carolina, known for joining real craft, a developer's analysis and accountable execution to build houses that make sense technically, financially and for the community.
